Local moves are short distance moves that are usually only a few mins or hours away and within the same state. The distance traveled and is what determines if a move is local, intrastate or long distance.
Intrastate Moving
Intrastate moves are moves done within the same state you reside. This means moving to a different city in the same state. Even though these moves are are in the same state the distance traveled is too far to be considered local (i.e moving from Los Angeles to San Fransico).

Move-In Day Checklist
